Bolero Model No. 450 Classical Acoustic 1975
Bolero Number 450 Classical, natural gloss, made in Japan circa 1975. Bolero was one of a bunch of brands that popped up out Japan in the mid 1970s doing student model classical guitars. This is a decent guitar: it sounds bright and lively, it's lightweight and lively in the hands and it holds tune nicely. It's fresh back from our tech with a new set of tuners and a new saddle, so it's in order. The neck is on the chunky side, which won't shock classical natives but will suit some players better than others. This is a cool old thing, it will make someone's house a nicer place.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and edges, and some scuffs on the back and front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, there's some minor scuffs on the back and a dent on the treble side behind the third fret on the back. The back has scuffs on the shoulders and middle of the body and some dimples on the elbow area. The sides have minor scuffs and surface scratches around the whole body. The front has dimples around the bridge, back edge and elbow area and some play wear around the sound hole
Overall: very good condition (710)
Playing condition notes: Action is moderately low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Wearing fresh Rotosound normal tension nylon strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
