Duesenberg Fullerton Hollow Archtop Vintage Burst 2017
Duesenberg Fullerton Hollow, vintage burst, made in Germany 2017. Duesenberg do gorgeous guitars, they're some of the most stylish and practical offerings going around these days. The slick LP-sized Starplayer is their main game, but... the bodacious big bodied beauties are my favourites. This one is fully hollow with no centre block, and a similar depth and dimensions to a typical ES-335 or Casino. It's extremely light: at 2.9kg, it's lighter than any Fender on the wall by quite some margin. The arched spruce top is paired with a delicious birds-eye maple arched back, and the thing rings like a bell at the lightest touch. The neck is a moderate slim C shape, agreeable and easy, and with all the sturdy hardware it's an easy, enjoyable player. The Domino P-90 pickups are great: smooth and fat down low, breathy and open through the mids and sweet and clear up top. This will deliver smooth jazz cleans, snappy country fingerstyle, bendy blues licks or expansive rock rhythm tones with frightful ease; it really does cover a tonne of bases. There's a lot to love, truly.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor dimples on the back. The is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has light scuffs on the bottom horn and elbow area. The sides have minor scuffs in the elbow area and dimples near the jack. The front has some light scuffs near the jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
