Up: octave above signal volume
Down: octave below signal volume
Choir: takes octave up+down signal, regenerates it, adds a slight delay; net effect is a slightly modulated extra octave above and below again
Lag: adds a pre-delay to the wet signal as you turn to the right
Tone: overall brightness/darkness of the signal; adds treble to the right
Direct: dry signal volume added to wet mix
