EVH 5150iii 6L6 2x12" 50W Guitar Amp Combo
EVH 5150iii combo, recent model out of Mexico, black tolex. There's not many famous high-gain amps than the 5150. This big chungus delivers that classic Eddie tone instantly. The lead channel has that liquid-long-sustain and gregarious, fluffy harmonics that make every lead line or chugged chord a joy to play. The clean channel leans more on the dirty side of clean, but it's all very usable. The oversize box with a port works perfectly with the Greenbacks on deck to move plenty of air; this feels more like playing a 4x12" stack than a regular combo. It's pretty heavy, but it has wheels. Long live shred.
