Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass, lake placid blue, made in Japan 2015. The Aerodyne J is one of the most iconic Fender Japan models, they have won a lot of hearts over the years with their sleek bound carved top and supremely comfy feel. You've likely seen plenty around in black and grey, but this lake placid blue is a rare treat. It looks stunning too, it's a vibrant electric blue with a gorgeous depth to it, plus the matching headstock really pops. The slim neck is finished in satin and is an absolute breeze to move around on, and paired with the slimline lightweight body, you find yourself having too much fun pretty quickly. The tone is a modern, scooped and punchy take on the classic P and J tones: so there's a satisfying immediate attack and plenty of natural low end, defined with a crispy treble to cut through the mix just enough. If you're after a do-it-all bass that looks superb, plays easy and sounds huge, this one will do the job nicely.

The front has a couple of dimples in the elbow area as well as some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets are almost new, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
