Fender Japan Classic 60s Jazzmaster Old Candy Apple Red 2016
Fender Jazzmaster, old candy red, made in Japan 2016. A rich red Jazzy with a matching hat... my oh my, what a time to be alive folks. 'Old Candy Apple Red' is a little darker and more mysterious than regular CAR, so it looks a little more distinguished and a bit snazzier. The classic JM curves look incredible and balance perfectly in the hands, and paired with the comfy slim vintage C neck, this feels great. The tone on deck is bright and vibrant, with a springy attack, open treble and a wide, chewy midrange with plenty of character. These Japan Jazzies are very enjoyable guitars and seem to be increasingly hard to source, especially if you prefer not-sunburst-please, so hey be a clever lady and nab this while it's going.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some scuffs and dimples on the end and some minor scuffs on the front near the top end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has a patch or surface scratches in the belly carve area, dimples and scuffs in the elbow area and along the back edge, a small chip on the edge in the bottom corner, surface scratches on the bottom horn and some rub wear in the middle of the body. The sides have dimples on the top horn, dimples and rub wear in the elbow area, dimples and scuffs near the jack and scuffs on the bottom horn. The front has surface scratches up from the pickups, scuffs near the jack and tailpiece, dimples and scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 7/10, normal wear but no major buzz issues
