Fender Japan Jaguar JG66-85 Sunburst 2007
Fender Jaguar, sunburst, crafted in Japan 2006-8. These mid-00s CIJ offsets are always awesome guitars, and this is no exception. The vintage Jag combo is all there: perfectly weighted offset body, slim round neck with a slinky short scale, cheeky offset trem and the innovative dual-circuit electronics. All that adds up nicely in the hands: it's just heaps of fun to play and never makes you work too hard. The tone is jangly and snappy on the lead circuit, or with some dialling in on the rhythm circuit there's a dark and percussive tone on offer too. We know how to set these up for optimal playing, so it's got medium gauge strings, a neck shim, wrapped bridge posts and jacked up pickup... all the things it needs to be it's best. You're gonna love it.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has a couple of light marks on the end. The neck is pretty clean, no major marks. The back has some dimples on the top horn and back edge, as well as some very light scuffs around the body. The sides have a couple of minor dimples near the jack and in the elbow area, as well as a pair of little chips up from the tone wheel. The front is pretty clean, just some dimples in the elbow area and some light play scuffs on the horns and guard. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets are in great shape, 9/10 for fret life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
