Fender Made In Japan Traditonal 50s Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde 2017
Fender MIJ Trad 50s Tele, butterscotch blonde, made in Japan 2017. This is the more recent Japan-made take on the classic 1952 Telecaster, so it's some tasty vintage style specs: ash body, single ply black guard, brass saddles, alnico single coils, spaghetti decal, cute little dome knobs... all the stuff. It delivers that classic Tele twang, with the slicing brightness balanced by a warm plonky low end. The neck on these later examples is a more modern style slim C with a 9.5" radius, so they're a bit more bend-friendly. The blonde finish is always a good look, there's plenty of grain on show to ogle. These were a good idea in the fifties, and they've been good ever since. Thanks Leo!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has a coule of light scuffs on the top horn and a little dent on the back edge, no major marks. The sides have a couple of dimples near the input jack, no major marks. The front is nice and clean, just a couple of dimples behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in graet order, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
