Fender Partscaster Telecaster Custom 1980s
Partscaster Tele, natural finish. What have we here, you ask? Well, let me explain. Firstly, the body started life as an early 1980s Fullerton USA made Fender Telecaster Deluxe. It's ben stripped and refinished, with a new guard and electronics, converting it to a Tele Custom style setup. The neck is a basic All Parts Modern C; simple and effective. The pickups are both from high quality boutique builders in Brierly and Haeussel; so there's a lot of good ingredients here. The tone is large: bright, chiming, crisp clarity on the bridge and warm, creamy sauce on the neck. It's not as cut-and-dry as a factory model, but this definitely delivers a whole lot of mojo. If you're after a tasty Tele and are likely to mod it to your liking anyway, here's a superb palette to mix off.

Neck: maple w/ maple cap, 12" radius, 25.5" scale (All Parts Modern C model)

Mods: new neck attached, tuners replaced, neck plate plugged and replaced and holes adjust for 3-hole style, guard replaced, pickups and electronics replaced, bridge replaced, refinished

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck are pretty clean, just some light play wear on the back of the neck. The back has a few minor scuffs and surface scratches, no major marks. The sides are pretty clean, minor dimples near the jack only. The front is pretty clean, just some dimples behind the bridge and play wear on the guard. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets have very little wear, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
