Fender Telecaster '52 Reissue Dimarzio Collection Vintage Natural 2004-05

Fender Telecaster '52 Reissue Dimarzio Collection Vintage Natural 2004-05

Fender Japan Dimarzio Collection '52 Reissue Tele, vintage natural, crafted in Japan 2004-05. This is a classy T! If you know your Fender Japan model numbers, you'll know the '-110' on this on indicates that this TL52-110DMC was a high-end model in it's day; it retailed for around double the cost of the standard Fender CIJ Tele. That means you get all the good stuff: two piece ash body, brass saddles, deluxe wiring and a set of sweet Dimarzio passive single coils. The pickups are really sweet: great clarity, dynamically responsive, fat mids, low noise, great balance between the pair... they just sound 'right' for a vintage-style Tele. The body features some really pretty grain, every angle looks superb; you can hear the quality of the timber with each note too. The soft-V neck feels perfect, everything is nicely balanced and you find yourself playing ceaselessly without a care in the world. This is an unusual model; it's a really great take on the classic '52 Telecaster that certainly lacks not for class!

Model: Fender Telecaster '52 Reissue (TL52-110DMC)
Made: Japan, 2004-05 (serial R084020)

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor cosmetic wear. There's a few minor marks and dimples on the front and rear of the body. There's a bit of scuffing near the rear strap pin. There's a bit of damage to the guard from heat treatment to flatten it, see the close up pics. There's some marks on the join-end of the neck. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in good shape, there's a little wear but heaps of life in them, 8/10. Tasty!
