Gretsch G2622-P90 Streamliner Havana Burst 2021
Gretsch G2622-P90, brown, made in Indonesia 2021. Cool, right? Gretsch's Streamliner series are their most affordable models, but despite the modest bucks involved, they're really pretty darn good. This one was a limited model from a year or two back, taking the standard model and swapping in a pair of 'FideliSonic' P-90 style pickups with staple style magnets... I assume they're named after Fidel Castro, hence the finish name... missile crisis not included. Anyway, they sound good: fat and warm, plenty of slice on the top. The neck is slim and comfy and at a whisker under 3kg, it's very light indeed. The visual details are cool too: cute little egg inlays, quirky knobs, V-stoptail... it's cute. Lots to enjoy here.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some chips and dimples on the end and light scuffs on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back. The back has scuffs on the horns, middle of the body and back edge. The sides have dimples on the top horn and scuffs in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has scuffs and rub wear in the elbow area, near the switch and along the back edge, dimples around the knobs and tailpiece and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
