Gretsch G6131TDS Jet Firebird w/ Dynasonics 2008
Gretsch Professional Collection Jet Firebird, made in Japan 2005. This is jaw-dropping, get-me-a-towel-for-the-drool gorgeous. Jet models in black, orange or even silver are more common, but damn the 'Firebird' is a saucy little machine. The chambered body is light and perfectly balanced, it's resonant and dynamic in the hands and the Bigsby is handy for some extra voicing options. MIJ Gretsch guitars are notoriously perfect; the build quality here is impeccable. The Dynasonic single coils are awesome: transparent, articulate, low-noise, bright, responsive... fantastic. This balances the line between class and attitude so perfectly, it's almost too good. What a honey!

Case: original wood hard case, good quality and condition, inc. warranty card
Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's some buckle rash on the back, from particular angles it's noticeable, but being shallow scratches they're hard to photograph. The rest is in pretty nice shape, just minor dimples here and there. Overall: excellent condition, 9/10.
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have very minor wear, they're in good shape, 8/10. Sweet stuff.
