Ibanez Artcore AFS75T Transparent Blue 2006
Ibanez Artcore AFS75T, blue, made in China 2008. This belonged to a prominent Hobart player for a few years, who also runs a painting business, so he did the right thing and applied some custom pinstripe work. It looks rad now, with a bit of extra rockabilly flare never going astray. The Artcore series has long been pretty good: well made hollow and semi-hollow models and decent prices, delivering a sensible yin to the yang of pointy metal guitars. This has a set of FIlter'Tron-style pickups, which deliver the goods too: snarl, bark and bite abound. You can get fat bluesy leads or crunchy rock rhythm sounds with ease. There's a lot to like here, it's a solid guitar with some cool mods to make it more fun and add some flair.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dents on the end and some scuffs on the edges and front, and a small dent on the back near the volute. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back only. The back has surface scratches on the horns and widespread minor scuffs and rub wear around the whole body. The sides have minor dimples on the top horn, elbow area and near the jack. The front has dimples near the knobs and tailpiece, scuffs around the top F-hole and play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
