Ibanez Iron Label S-Series Six6DFM Dark Space Burst 2016

Ibanez Iron Label S-Series Six6DFM Dark Space Burst 2016

Ibanez Iron Label Six6DFM, dark space burst, made in Indo 016. The Iron Label series enjoys a good reputation among Ibanez-heads for sensible features and excellent build quality. This one is a proper high-performance shred machine, it's so aerodynamic it basically plays itself. The S-Series body shape is comically slim and light, but that's awesome for fast movement up and down the neck and means you can more effectively throw it around stage during those brutal, Dad-hating breakdowns. The Dimarzio pickups deliver a thick and juicy growl, there's heaps of natural low end balanced by a tasty snap through the treble. The coil-split toggle switch works pretty well too, you can dial in some pretty sweet, clear clean tones to contrast with your apocalyptic riffage available via the humbucker setting. The finish on this has an understated class too... it's funny to think of it as a take on the sunburst-Strat, but with a dash of Scandi nihilistic minimalism thrown in. All up: really good, and so light!

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 9/42 strings in standard tuning.
