Mastro Valvola do a bunch of cool handmade pedals from their home base in Italy. This one gives you a lead channel on tap: big thick juicy distortion with singing sustain. You can dial it down to a lower gain setting, but it's always fairly dirty and works best for wailing. There's a nice dose of detail and snap on deck even at higher levels. Plus, it looks like David Bowie, so that's a win.
