Paul Reed Smith SE Custom 247 Tobacco Sunburst 2013
PRS SE Custom 247, sunburst, made in Korea 2013. The Custom 24 is Paul's most iconic guitar design; it's a comfortable shape and balanced both physically and tonally. The 7-string version is a pretty intuitive extension; it's still easy to play, still well balanced and still looks pretty slick to boot. The tobacco burst finish is classy; it's kinda nice to have a seven string guitar that's not pointy and black. The pickups have enough output to get an amp heaving, but they're not the EMG-style death machines you often find on extended range guitars like this; they breathe nicely and will work happily across a few genres. This one lives in a pretty slick PRS case, the same kind you'd get on a fancy USA model; handy bonus!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck are pretty clean. Back is also good, just a couple of minor dimples near the neck joint, below the neck pickup and behind the string ferrules. The sides are pretty clear, just some minor scuffs near the input jack. The front is pretty clean, just some light dimples near the knobs and below the neck pickup as well as some light play wear on both horns and near the knobs. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear, but they're in pretty good shape; 7/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/56s.
