Fender Japan '62 Precision Bass PB62-53 Sunburst 1993

Fender Japan '62 Precision Bass PB62-53 Sunburst 1993

Fender '62 P, sunburst, made in Japan 1992-3. This is a great workhorse bass, it'll definitely put a smile on your dial. The '62 version of the P bass got a tort guard, rosewood slab board, spaghetti logo and a crispy burst finish, so this got all those blessings. The body is naturally resonant and features some attractive grain on the back, it's a nice looking thing. The neck is straight and stable and features a gorgeous piece of dark, streaky rosewood. The pots and pickup have been upgraded, so this packs a bit more oomph and clarity than a regular offering. It's thick, fat and full with a nice little glint of sweetness in the top end. Classic stuff.
