Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster Vintage White 2016
Squier JMJM, vintage white, made in China 2016. This model has become quite the cult classic, they're very well renowned indeed. Our buddy J made some sensible changes to the standard vintage Jazzmaster recipe: Adjust-o-matic bridge, 9.5" radius, anodized guard and a pair of pickups closer to a P90 than a pancake-wound single. The tone on offer is a lot of fun: slicing treble, juicy plump mids and plenty of attack. The neck is a comfy quick modern C shape, it's easy to get around on and doesn't make you work too hard. The gold and cream combo hits those classic Jazzmaster curves beautifully, it looks awesome. This is a very enjoyable guitar, and as best I can tell, you can't buy a new one in Australia at the minute, so hey, get it while it's going.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock and neck are pretty clean, no major marks. The back has some minor dents in the middle of the body, as well as some minor dimples around the whole body. The sides have some minor dimples near the jack. The front has around the jack and tailpiece, light scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have some minor wear, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
