Fender Made in Japan Hybrid 60s Stratocaster HSS Black Paisley 2019
Fender MIJ Hybrid Strat, limited run Black Paisley finish, made 2019. This looks awesome. Back in 1969, Fender did some limited run Telecasters in a hippy-inspired paisley finish, but Strats weren't blessed with the same treatment until the first lot of paisley models came out of Japan in the mid 1980s. This one is a 2019 example from a limited run of 150. It looks fantastic: amazing detail on show, with a cool silver texture underneath the swirling pattern; it will look amazing under lights especially. The Hybrid models were a mix of vintage and modern features, so this has 60s style decals, Kluson-style tuners, slab rosewood fretboard and a three ply guard, as well as modern touches like a two point tremolo bridge and an HSS pickup set. The pickups are good: glassy and snappy on the single coils, creamy and full on the humbucker. There's plenty to like here, and this is not one you'll see pop up very often.

The front has dimples near the rear strap pin and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
